As we all know constant efforts are being made to prevent corona in the country. A lockdown was declared in the country.

But the lockdown created food problem for the daily earners such as rickshaw pullers, daily wage laborers, street vendors, poor and deprived people. While efforts were being made by the government, the society wasn't far behind. 

They also helped people a lot and they are the real example of humanity.

'Langar' On Wheels

Langar on wheels

The Sikh is a name of person who lives for others first. To ensure that no one sleeps an empty stomach, the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee started 'Langar on Wheels' to provide food to thousands of people across the capital.

The food is sent from Gurudwara Rakaab Ganj twice a day every day to different locations across the capital.. Thank You!❤

Sonu Sood the real hero

Migrant workers have helped build our roads, homes and offices. Then how can we see them be homeless,” says actor Sonu Sood. Each day since the COVID-19 lockdown in Mumbai had been declared the actor has been organising buses for migrant workers to travel from Mumbai to their respective hometowns. 

As part of his ‘Ghar Bhejo’ campaign, he has helped approximately thousands of migrants reach home, he responds to questions over a voice note, amid what he calls a ‘crazily busy schedule’ that keeps him awake nearly 22 hours a day. 

Each day, at least around 45,000 people were provided food and water as well. He also arranged chartered flight to bring home 135 Indian students stranded in Kyrgyzstan. Also he arranged flight for 177 workers stuck state's Ernakulam  district, helping them to return Odisha.

Still he is doing a lot for people, salute him for his selfless work. Thank You!❤

RSS Volunteers

RSS- Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh

The RSS is the Indian right-wing, and paramilitarty volunteer, they distributed 2,500 Kg flour, 1,250 Kg rice and other essential food items among approx 1,000 sex workers in Delhi's GB road, also they helped needy and pregnant ladies as well. Thank You!❤

Popular Youtuber Bhuvam Bam, who is famous for his 'BB Ki Vines' videos has proved to be a saviour for people amid lockdown. He came forward to help needy people in the fight against coronavirus pandemic. He raised funds through his special video 'Titu Talks' for poor people.

He also donated Rs 10 Lakh to PM CARES Fund along with CM Relief Fund and Feeding India Plan. Thank You!❤

A 30-year-old Pune based autorickshaw driver, Akshay Kothawale spent ₹2 lakhs from his wedding fund to help the underprivileged and migrant labours. He has received ₹6 Lakhs worth of donations and continues to feed 400 migrant workers daily. Thank You!❤

Noida Roti Bank

Noida Roti Bank

The Noida Authority set up a roti bank in the district. In starting they served 400 rotis with 3 socities and later the journey ended with 60 societies.

In which 18,20,850 rotis were received during the lockdown from 12 April 2020 to 7 July 2020, which was distributed to the needy in different parts of the city along with vegetables and pulses made in the community kitchen. 3,67,720 people were served food under this scheme. Thank You!❤

A citizens' group in Gurugram has stepped up to help those in need by providing food to them in several areas. The Gurgaon Nagrik Ekta Manch, a group of about 2,000 local residents, supplyed ration to about 300 needy families on a daily basis. Thank You!❤

Odisha woman farmer distributes her vegetables to needy people

Chhayarani Sahu has been growing vegetables on her seven-acre farm for the last 20 years. She also does dairy farming and handles 20 cows. Her husband Sarabeshwar Sahu helps her in farming and runs a milk society.

She distributed vegetables grown in her seven acres of land to those who were most affected by this lockdown. So far, she has distributed 50 quintals of vegetables in at least 15 villages. Thank You!❤

An 85-year-old octogenarian in Tamil Nadu was making waves with her incredible hard work & energy. K Kamalathal makes living out selling idlis in Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. What makes her different is the price at which she sells her food Re 1 an impossible figure in 2020.

Despite hardships, Idli amma, as she is fondly called, continued selling Idlis at this throwaway price all through the lockdown. This is her inspiring story. Thank You Maa!❤

Also I want to thank Doctors, nurses, all health care workers, truckers, grocery workers, domestic helpers. Also thanks to all who made their contribution on that time. This is a tribute to all those on the front lines, risking their lives so that we can be safe. Thank You!❤

So, friends these are the real heroes of our India. The shining stars⭐, we should learn from them and admire them.
