"Mother of Orphans", story of Sindhutai Sapkal (Mai)

Conforming to  UNICEF (The United Nations Children's Emergency Fund) , there are 153 million orphans in world. Each and every day approx. 5,700 children become orphan due to many reasons. There are 29.6 million orphaned in India .  Who is called the "Mother of Orphans"? Sindhutai Sapkal (Mai) is an Indian social worker and social activist known for her work in nurturing and support orphans children in India.  Sindhutai Sapkal , affectionately known as the ‘Mother of Orphans’ recounts the hardships she faced during her long journey, struggling to come to terms with life.  She is an Indian social activist widely known for her contributions towards raising orphaned children in India. Born on 14th November in 1948, she grew up in a small village Wardha in Maharashtra .
